Molybdenum is required for production of an enzyme that is used by bacteria to fix nitrogen, converting nitrogen to a useable form for marine organisms.

Limited Molybdenum availability can inhibit the growth of nitrogen fixing bacteria and phytoplankton effecting coral health and biochemical cycling in marine systems.​

1 ml of Molybdenum Zlement increases the Molybdenum concentration of 100 litres by 2 μg/l.
