When to use:

  • To protect eggs and fry against fungal infection
  • When cotton wool like growths appear on fish
  • If fish show signs of open wounds and ulceration
  • If any part of the fish is covered in excess mucus

The box states this product is not to be used with marine aquariums, I use this as a dip when processing new marine fish with very good results, I do not however add it to marine aquariums in fear of damaging the biological filter. If you choose to use this product with marine fish you do so at your own risk.
