The coral grows in a branching fashion with heads sometimes splitting to become two or sometimes growing from the side of the branches. The long tentacles and large polyps also provide lots of lovely movement in the aquarium.

Frogspawn corals do not require intense lighting so tend to do best in the bottom half of the tank, it is however usually possible to acclimate them a little higher if desired.
